Description: In this training teachers will work to answer our focus question: "How does your explicit teaching build authentic student engagement?" Teachers will review 6 components of explicit teaching, the varying degrees of student engagement and analyze teaching video clips for evidence of both. Teachers will work towards a common definition of Authentic Student Engagement and reflect on their own teaching practice and PLC planning practice.
