Description: In this interactive session, secondary principals will analyze social studies lessons through the lens of the Explicit Teaching model. Participants will evaluate how the lesson supports inquiry-based instruction, literacy integration, and disciplinary thinking at each stage of the GRR framework (I Do, We Do, You Do). Through guided reflection and discussion, principals will identify key instructional moves, assess alignment to standards, and explore how to support teachers in designing and delivering rigorous, student-centered lessons.
