Description: The Peer Review Team works to ensure consistent application of Durham Public Schools and NC Department of Public Instruction (March 2021; p. 9-13, 62-70) assessment guidelines and procedures through an objective and supportive review process completed by a rotating team of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (the team may also be composed of a graduate clinician under the supervision of a licensed DPS SLP). The Peer Review process serves to objectively review each evaluation report completed by DPS SLPs and provide the evaluating SLP with impartial observations and supportive feedback based on a comparison of the submitted report to local and state assessment and result reporting procedures.
