Description: This session will build staff understanding of attendance as an instructional priority rather than a compliance task. Participants will examine school-based attendance patterns, clarify expectations for accurate attendance procedures, and identify actionable strategies to improve student attendance, particularly for students approaching chronic absenteeism. The session will connect attendance practices to student achievement and engagement.
