Description: Wordless picture books provide opportunities for dynamic collaborative story telling in a broad range of classrooms, across all ages, and differing abilities. Creativity, perspective, and attention to detail drive this shared learning experience. Students develop visual thinking strategies to interpret and respond to books from around the world. This format is rich with literary elements such as tone, mood, and symbolism. Wordless picture books have the power to level the playing field and encourage everyone to engage. Learn the expanse of this genre from a seasoned Media Coordinator and Reading Specialist.
