Description: This interactive session will prepare school counselors to launch a comprehensive, ASCA-aligned school counseling program for the 2026–27 school year. Participants will review district priorities and counseling expectations, explore required program management tools, and develop action steps for implementing the DPS Big Rocks. Counselors will begin planning key components of their program, including data priorities, Achievement Gap Plans, Student Standards Delivery Plans, use-of-time management, and preparation for their Annual Administrative Conference. Through reflection, collaboration, and planning activities, counselors will leave with a clear blueprint for a successful start to the school year.
