Description: This session is ONLY for elementary grades 3-5 math teachers who have signed up for the year-long Modern Classrooms/Eureka2 Partnership. During this 2 day summer training, educators will receive access to a full year of adapted Eureka2 Math​​ materials and will learn practical methods to use ​the Modern Classrooms approach with E​M2 to meet every learner’s needs.

Description: The Duke-DPS-NAF Summer Institute is a three-day intensive workshop designed to help elementary and secondary educators bring primary source-based activities to their students to increase civic awareness and engagement. The Summer Institute will build on the theme "We the People" as Duke and NAF commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Sessions will focus on how to leverage primary (historical documents, photos, video, etc.) and secondary sources (documentaries, biographies, etc.) into classroom lessons. Sessions will also include an introduction to local Durham history and be supplemented with lectures from several Duke and NCCU faculty with expertise in history and law. This institute will run from Monday June 22-Wednesday June 24.

Description: In this session, school leaders will deepen their understanding of i-Ready Inform and its power to drive meaningful student outcomes. Participants will explore what's new in i-Ready Inform and learn how to leverage updated features to gain clearer visibility into student performance. Leaders will build the skills needed to move from data consumption to data action — using i-Ready Inform dashboards and reports to inform decisions around intervention, scheduling, and instructional priorities, equipping their teams to use i-Ready Inform with consistency and fidelity from day one.
