Description: This session will focus on “quality over quantity” instructional planning using an explicit teaching approach. Teachers will learn a simple, repeatable lesson structure (objective/success criteria, modeling, guided practice, checks for understanding, independent practice, and aligned exit tickets) that can be applied across all content areas in grades 6–12. Participants will leave with a streamlined lesson plan for an upcoming class and practical strategies for prioritizing essential skills while reducing unnecessary workload and student confusion.
