Description: This session provides teachers and staff with strategies and best practices for effectively supporting Exceptional Children (EC), Academically or Intellectually Gifted (AIG), and English Learner (EL) students at Parkwood Elementary. Participants will explore differentiated instruction techniques, targeted interventions, and collaborative approaches to meet the diverse learning needs of all students. The session will also highlight resources, tools, and school-wide supports available to ensure academic growth, engagement, and success for every learner.

Location: Parkwood Elementary School Media Center
Description: This professional development session, Building a Connected, Engaged, and Accountable School Community, is designed to strengthen staff understanding and collective responsibility in key areas that impact student success. Participants will examine current attendance data to reflect on trends and the importance of consistent student presence. The session will also provide an overview of restorative practices and their role in fostering positive relationships and maintaining a supportive learning environment. Additionally, staff will review and analyze Panorama survey results to identify strengths and areas for growth within the school climate. The session will conclude with a full staff reflection and a dedicated Q&A segment for new Parkwood staff members to ensure clarity, connection, and shared understanding across the team.
