Susan Stewart Taylor, NC Teaching Fellow, began her career in education as a social studies teacher. In addition to being a classroom teacher, she has served as an intervention coordinator, assistant principal, assistant principal of instruction, and is currently the principal of C.E. Jordan High School in Durham, North Carolina. Ms. Taylor was a Wake County Teacher of the Year Finalist in 2008 and was recognized as the 2020-2021 Durham Public Schools Principal of the Year.  What she enjoys most about her work is the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated educators who are focused on ensuring that all students graduate on time and with options!
