Session 1 of a Three-Part Series at Northern High School-Restoring Captured Hearts_STOP Violence Grant : For educators with Capturing Kids Heart experience looking to incorporate restorative practices at Northern and Southern High Schools.
Three Part Series is designed specifically for educators with Capturing Kids Heart experience looking to incorporate components of restorative practices. Authentic implementation of your school’s cultural framework is the tool by which the culture (i.e. personality) of your classroom can be redefined such that the climate (i.e. attitude) supports a learning space conducive for increasing a student’s sense of belonging. During this professional learning, participants will be able to reflect upon the culture (i.e., personality) and climate (i.e. attitude) of their classroom and apply new techniques which will positively impact student academic performance. Each session is a continuation of the previous session.

As this work is part of the STOP Violence Grant, a pre and post assessment is completed to determine the impact the training will have on achieving goals of the grant.
