It is grounded in sheltered instruction and other language acquisition research. Key features of GLAD include:Integrated English-language development (ELD) and designated ELD1.Scaffolding, cooperative, student-centered experiences2.Culturally responsive teaching.NCDPI is sponsoring this workshop for Durham Public Schools. The presenters are Laura VanCamp and Crystal Jastzabski, presenters from the EL Support Team.
