Durham Public Schools PL

Liz Moffitt, Director of Math & Science for Durham Public Schools, has served students and teachers as a middle and high school math teacher, AIG facilitator, instructional coach, curriculum specialist, advocate, and leader for 15 years. Liz has travelled to London, Guatemala, Costa Rica, India, and Vietnam to explore education systems and build cultural awareness. She is a former Kenan Fellow and Governor's Teacher Network member, and is passionate about mathematics instruction from an interdisciplinary approach, with specific interests in coding and computational thinking, as well as authentic project-based learning.
