Jordan High School
Ms. Huckbody joined the administrative team in the winter of 2021 as the Assistant Principal of Operations to support the school community so that all students graduate with options. Ms. Huckbody joined the Jordan family in 2016 and has been in education for 15 years, with 13 of classroom experience as a Science teacher-leader. While at Jordan, Ms. Huckbody has served in several leadership roles including science department leader, Leadership Team member, Evening Academy team member and was instrumental in the development of the virtual learning schedule and related expectations. They have led professional development, mentored beginning teachers, and sponsored student clubs such as Environmental Club, Sports Talk Club and Habitat for Humanity. Ms. Huckbody holds a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from UNC Asheville and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Wingate University.  In their spare time, Mrs. Huckbody enjoys spending time outdoors hiking or kayaking and working on home improvement projects.
