About me
Ronald McDaniel is a dedicated educator with extensive teaching experience in middle school social studies. Since July 2006, he has been an 8th-grade social studies teacher at James E. Shepard IB Magnet Middle School, where he has significantly impacted his students' education. Before that, Ronald taught both social studies and science at Northern Middle School in Roxboro, NC.
Mr. McDaniel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from North Carolina Central University in December 2000, providing him with a solid foundation in social studies. He furthered his education by obtaining a Master of Science in Athletic Administration from Ohio University in April 2021, which enhanced his ability to manage and coordinate extracurricular programs effectively. Currently, Ronald is pursuing a Master of School Administration from Western Carolina University, expected to be completed in May.
With his extensive teaching experience and background in athletic administration, Mr. McDaniel brings a unique perspective to his classroom. He understands the importance of creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that fosters both academic and personal growth. Ronald's commitment to education and his passion for social studies make him a valuable presenter who can inspire and motivate educators to create meaningful learning experiences for their students.
