About me
Mechia DuPree serves as a District Beginning Teacher Mentor in the Office of Equity and Professional Learning for Durham Public Schools. In this role, she works closely with teachers in their first three years of the profession to help them develop and grow as educators. In addition, she works closely with school and district leaders to determine best practices and approaches for supporting teachers and provide assistance via individual and group consultation, professional development, modeling and observing classroom instruction and providing feedback.
