About me

Hi All! My name is Lena Lynn. I am an Exceptional Children's Facilitator for Durham Public Schools. Over the past few years, I have worked Fayetteville Street Elementary and Oak Grove Elementary. Additionally, I have worked at Morehead Montessori and YE Smith Elementary as a EC Facilitator. Prior to this, I taught as an EC Resource Teacher at Oak Grove Elementary. This is my twentieth year in DPS. I am an alumni of Southern High School. I attended East Carolina University as an undergrad and received my masters from North Carolina Central University specializing in Special Education with an emphasis in Emotional Disabilities and Learning Disabilities. Helping others is my passion! I started my teaching career in Granville County at the high school level with teaching Occupational Course of Studies and Co-Teaching English and Algebra.
