José A. Cardoza is an assistant principal at Jordan High School in Durham, North Carolina. Throughout his 27‐year teaching and administrative career, he has taught elementary, middle, and adult English learners as well as held various leadership roles. His research interests include bilingual education, social justice, and educational leadership.
