About me
Welcome to the conference!
I am the AIG Specialist at a public Montessori school in Durham, NC. I teach Investigation through STEM to Pre-k through second grade students and serve identified third grade students. When I work with students I see that math is an area where I can spend more time helping students build confidence and foster a sense of thoughtful risk taking. Using strategies where more children are willing to engage, share and feel successful allows me to get a better understanding of their knowledge and tendencies. The information my colleagues and I will share in our session has helped us learn more about and support all our students.
