https://t.ly/3cJlTDescription: Whole Brain teaching is an instructional approach that emphasizes active learning to reduce challenging behaviors and increase student engagement. During this session, teachers will be given instruction on adolescent development in the brain to gain further insight into how their students are thinking, and why they do the things that they do. In addition, participants will focus on key factors in adolescent growth and development (cognitive, social/emotional and physical development) to guide instruction and appropriate teacher responses to challenging student behaviors.
