Description: This professional development session will support secondary science educators in understanding and applying Webb’s Depth of Knowledge (DOK) framework to increase task rigor and student cognitive engagement. Participants will analyze existing science tasks, lessons, and assessments, identify current DOK levels, and redesign activities to promote higher-order thinking aligned to standards and real-world scientific practices.
