Location: Merrick-Moore Elementary School Media Center
Description: This session will focus on the Model & Deconstruct phase of explicit instruction—“I Do, You Watch.” Teachers will learn how to clearly model a skill or strategy while thinking aloud, then break down the learning into key steps so students understand what to do and why it works. We will practice scripting concise teacher language, naming the success criteria, and anticipating common student misconceptions.
