Description: This professional learning session is designed to deepen staff understanding of Restorative Practices as a proactive and responsive approach to school culture, behavior, and relationships. Participants will explore how restorative mindsets and strategies strengthen community, promote accountability, and support students in repairing harm while maintaining their sense of dignity and belonging. Through interactive discussion, modeling, and school-based scenarios, staff will learn practical tools such as community circles, affective statements, restorative conversations, and collaborative problem-solving. The session will include opportunities to reflect on current practices, identify barriers, and plan for consistent implementation aligned with our schoolwide expectations and equity commitments.
