Description: This is 1 of 5 Saturday sessions DAY 1 is focused on Second Language Acquisition. Participants will explore the Stages of Language Acquisition, understand North Carolina's Language proficiency levels, understand the distinction between Social vs. Academic Language. Participants will walk in the shoes of ELs and experience ELs feelings in the school or classroom.
