Description: In this fast-paced, 60-minute session, school counselors and social workers will learn practical, easy-to-use tools to help students work through disagreements in healthy, constructive ways. We’ll focus on recognizing when a conversation can be resolved with light guidance, when to encourage peer-to-peer problem-solving, and when to involve a more formal process. Participants will leave with ready-to-use conversation prompts, quick de-escalation techniques, and tips for fostering respectful dialogue. No prior mediation experience required.
