Presenters: Les Turner | lester_turner@dpsnc.net | Director of K-12 Arts Ed; Kiyoshi Carter | kiyoshi_carter@dpsnc.net | Art Specialist Location: Riverside High School Room C235 Description: Arts educators will align current lesson/unit plans with the new NCDPI K-12 Arts Education standards. The session will include and introduction to the new standards with focus on what is the same and what looks different. Teachers will have some guided time to explore their content specific changes. Finally, teachers will use current lesson plans or samples lesson plans provided and realign them with the new standards.
