The session will guide educators on how to move beyond traditional test preparation by exploring data-driven planning and leveraging free digital tools to create engaging, interactive, and relevant review activities. Key topics include understanding the importance of 21st-century skills in test review, utilizing NC standards and data for targeted instruction, and applying backward design principles. Participants will be introduced to a toolkit of free digital resources for gamification (like Kahoot! and Blooket), interactive collaboration (such as Jamboard and Padlet), student creation (using Canva and Flip), and targeted practice (including Khan Academy and NCDPI resources). The session aims to equip teachers with actionable strategies to make test review more effective and less stressful for diverse learners preparing for End-of-Grade, End-of-Course, and CTE state standardized tests. It will conclude with action planning and resource sharing.
