Let’s continue the learning from Part 1 of our deep dive into Complex Text (in September) by falling deeper in love with putting Complex Text at the Center of our ELA classrooms. Planning for comprehension lessons requires deeper understanding of the three levels of text representation and why close reading matters. In this session, we will connect research to practice through collaborative reading, discussion, and application to elevate our effectiveness in planning and implementing daily reading comprehension lessons. No prerequisite required.
