In this introductory session, participants will learn the basics of coding in Google Sheets and Google Apps Script (GAS). You probably know of Google Sheets, Google's spreadsheet software. You will learn a few powerful "codes" (aka formulas) to take your Sheets game to the next level. You might not be as familiar with Google Apps Script (GAS). It is a coding platform in Google Drive that allows users to automate tasks within Google Drive. Participants will learn what GAS is, its benefits, and how it can be created. Before leaving, participants will write some simple code and run it .
