You know, the usual: critical thinking skills, combatting racism, bias and systems that pertpetuate white supremacy, usage rights, creative commons licensing, copyright, (intellectual) property as a cultural construct, creativity and artistic expression in general and in education, technology in general and in education, inquiry, and curiosity as the basis of research and of all learning, helping young people understand themselves as participants in broader academic conversations, teaching kinesthetic learners when my knees and back hurt, literature, poetry, imagination, and visual art as avenues of connection, linguistic subversion, cultural transmission, cultural interruption, cultural erasure, and cultural commodification, religion, philosophy, textual analysis, inspiration, respect, truth telling, and hope.
