About me
Dominique is a social studies teacher at Jordan, as well co-advisor of various clubs such as Spectrum Alliance and Students Against Sexual Harassment. She is also Jordan's equity champion (district liaison for equity affairs), the high school+ middle school lead equity champion, and has helped craft the district's equity policies. This will be her seventh year of teaching, including a year teaching through the Fulbright exchange program in Malaysia. She graduated from Duke as a B.N. Duke scholar and returned to Duke through the Durham Teaching Fellows program to complete an M.A.T. before joining the Jordan team. She loves nature, surfing, mindfulness, salsa dancing, yoga, traveling and food.
