I have been teaching with Durham Public Schools at Forest View Elementary for 24 years. I began my career as a classroom teacher, spanning kindergarten through second grade. I also taught a multi-age classroom as a team teacher for multiple years. For the past 15 years, I have taught English Language Learners at Forest View and continue to learn from students and colleagues.
