About me
Ms. Worthy serves as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Instructional and Pathway Coordinator for Durham Public Schools. Prior to this role, she was a Health Science Educator for more than 10 years who worked with high school students, primarily 9th graders, getting them acclimated to high school and exposure to various careers in the medical profession. Ms. Worthy has a passion for students obtaining skills and getting exposure to various career opportunities whether they require a high school diploma or a professional degree. This passion was birthed when she worked in the pharmaceutical industry where she recognized that many students were not aware of the various facets of the industry. In her current role, she is able to build relationships with staff, and the community and to help staff assist students with gaining exposure, experience, and education to help them to become productive citizens of the community.
