You have an important role to play in building your students’ civic knowledge, skills, and sense of identity – and Kids Voting Durham has free, easy-to-use programs and resources to help you do just that! Come find out how to empower your students to be civically engaged in Durham’s 2023 elections, including casting their own ballot in your Kids Voting Election or as a first time voter. Participants will learn about how to hold Kids Voting Elections (with all supplies and training provided free of costs), available grade-specific resources and hands-on activities to educate student’s about voting, the 2023 ballot, local government, issues, and offices, and more!
