This is an opportunity for new test coordinators to learn about the expectations for the year and tricks of the trade to be successful. This training provides a broad overview of 4all things testing4.

mClass refresher for returning teachers to provide overview of new navigation layout and provide refresher on the scoring rules for each measure and practice. New teachers will receive training on the design and purpose of mClass, training of the new layout, and mClass scoring rules before administrating the assessment.

K-5 Literacy/ELA will (1) learn how to utilize proper scoring procedures for D8 measures; (2) navigate the Online Assessment Management Portal for assessment, reporting, and progress monitoring; and (3) reflect on the invalidation process to preempt potential administrative errors.

Introduce new teachers to how to log into Amplify and navigate Amplify to test students on MClass. In addition, to review two components of MClass along with the scoring information.
Teachers will Utilize proper scoring procedures for D8 measures Navigate the Online Assessment Management Portal for assessment, reporting, and progress monitoring. Reflect on the invalidation process to preempt potential administrative errors
If TCs have students from their schools who register for CDM, they will need to attend this training to prepare for administering the EOC. TCs will be notified in advance if they have students to sign up.

As a result of this activity, the participating SLP will be able to compare SLP evaluation reports to Durham Public Schools and NC Department of Public Instruction (March 2021; p. 9-13, 62-70) assessment guidelines and procedures through an objective and supportive checklist- based review process.
