Join us as we examine Joe Feldman's book Grading For Equity to examine strategies, examples, and insights, as well as explore the potential impact of grading upon equity. This book study is in partnership with DPS Advanced Academics, DPS Curriculum and Instruction, and DPS Equity Affairs and Professional Development. Participants will be eligible for CEUs upon completion of the book study components. By the end of our book study, learners will be able to:-Discuss the purpose of grading.-Examine grading strategies.-Brainstorm course-specific strategies to improve equity in grading -Implement a strategy to make grading more equitable. -Discuss and implement equitable grading strategies in the context of specific school settings
As a result of this activity, the participating SLP will be able to compare SLP evaluation reports to Durham Public Schools and NC Department of Public Instruction (March 2021; p. 9-13, 62-70) assessment guidelines and procedures through an objective and supportive checklist- based review process.
This session provides data manages/scheduling teams the opportunity to work on scheduling for the 24-25 school year while having the PowerSchool team available to hands on assistance.

Participants will learn different strategies to apply in their classroom. This presentation will be hosted in Spanish to support Dual Language teachers and instructional assistants.
