Certified IIRP Restorative Practice trainer will facility training for Restorative Practices For Educators 2 Day IIRP-for key staff at Riverside High School supporting the schools restorative practice implementation plan school wide. The two day IIRP Restorative Practices for Educators will be completed over the course of 4 days: October 21, 23, 28, & 30. The virtual training sessions will be from 12:00-4:00. Participants will earn CEU's as well certificate indicating they have completed IIRP Restorative Practices training. The participants will complete the virtual training sessions together in the same setting. The participants will engage in the breakout sessions face to face with the support of the STOP Grant Training Manager and/or the Grant Director. The participants will have pre-work for each of the sessions that will be emailed to them in advance of each session. The sessions will only last 4- hours. An additional hour has been allotted to accommodate the completion of the pre-work. Key topics covered in session 3: Opening and Introductions, Social Discipline Window/Restorative Practices Continuum, Video: Facilitating Circles, Circle Applications, and Circle Situations.
