In this hands-on-interactive session, participants will learn about the newly adoped NC science standards, the Science and Engineering Practices and how the DPS resources and curriclum supports daily science instruction in K-5. In addition to supporting K-4 science, this session will serve as the 1st 5th grade Science PLC of the year's series. **Highly recomended for all 5th grade science teachers**
