The Duke Human Rights Center at the Franklin Humanities Institute invites you to attend a workshop focused on empowering educators to use local North Carolina histories of human rights activism in their classrooms. Each workshop includes a session with local social justice and historical organizations, curriculum demonstrations, and a seminar with an expert on North Carolina history. Educators are invited to choose one session to attend. Educators will receive a $150 stipend and CEU credit upon completion of one workshop. Sessions are open to any 6-12 educator, including teachers, librarians, and instructional coaches.
