Meaningful Math Discourse

The presentation will utilize and explore the components of Reveal that support peer-to-peer discourse and language development of all learners. Facilitators will teach participants how to use the Indicator for High-Quality Math Instruction to support increasing discourse in a meaningful way. Teachers will design discourse that forces students to assume the mathematician role using leveled questioning and literacy strategies. Participants will need their devices.
