Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents ages 12-18. Curriculum is also helpful to staff members who work with elementary aged students. Skills learned in this course are helpful for both professional and personal dynamics; relationships; and interactions. Course is blended learning format. 5 hours in-person with 2 hours of pre-work. Pre-work does not have to completed in one sitting. Confirmation of course registration with additional course information will be sent to registrants prior to training start date.
