K-5 Literacy coaches are encouraged to join us for HMH Coach Content Leadership Institute. This year's institute will focus on how to refine our in-classroom and PLC coaching to ensure our students' literacy growth and success. This institute will run for 6 sessions; September 14th, October 19th, November 9th, February 15th, March 21st, April 18.
Build capacity of Teaching and Learning Coaches to elevate high-quality math instruction focused on task selection, facilitating discourse, and making connections.
School Social Work will meet to receive professional learning from DPS partners and community agencies. School Social Workers will problem-solve on caseloads and discuss strategies to effectively engage students and their families.
AIG Specialists will engage in professional learning to build the skills necessary to support their school community with advanced learning strategies.
With a focus on core literacy resources and practices, Literacy Content leaders will collectively determine the learning goals and methods for each session with literacy specialists. StudySync, Reading Plus, the science of reading, school wide literacy practices, core literacy intervention
In this session, participants will learn how to use the Corrective Reading Program to provide direct instruction to EC students in the resource classroom.

Training is designed to ensure safe management of students with diabetes in the school setting. Participants with have a basic overview of the diagnosis of diabetes, treatment options, and appropriate management of emergencies.

Participants will learn how to set-up and utilize Zoo Academy, Zoo U, SS GRIN, Hall of Heroes and Stories in Motion. These social skills programs are for students in grades K-8. Pre-registration is required in order to receive the training link from the company. Once trained, teachers can request access to these programs by completing a google form that will provided at the training.
